Quaker India has launched a new web series with Michelin Starred Chef Vikas Khanna. The new show, titled ‘Kitchen, Khanna & Konversations’, will have Chef Vikas Khanna cooking up a storm with Bollywood actor Nushrat Bharucha, Tamil actor Vishnuu Vishal, and social media influencers Kusha Kapila and Dolly Singh. The content initiative by the oats brand focuses on how our favourite recipes can be made nutritious by adding Quaker Oats, while featuring interesting banter between Chef Khanna and the young stars.

Available exclusively on Hotstar, the three-part series available highlights the versatility of oats as Nushrat, Vishnuu, Kusha and Dolly all team up with Chef Vikas Khanna to try their hand at cooking their favourite breakfast recipes. Chef Khanna demonstrates how easily one can add a bit of nutrition to any dish with Quaker oats, especially for the youth who love diverse food choices but are hard pressed for time, given their fast-paced lives.

Speaking on the objective behind this content initiative, Nobel Dhingra, Associate Director, Marketing (Quaker), PepsiCo India, said, “We constantly receive insights from our young consumers as to how they want to eat healthier and yet don’t want to compromise on taste. Also, given the fast-paced lives they lead, they have more control over what they eat at breakfast versus the other meals of the day when they have less control over when, where and what they eat. This led us to conceptualise our first-ever web series with the objective of helping young people understand how easily they can choose to increase the nutrition quotient of their favourite dishes by adding Quaker Oats. Chef Vikas Khanna as our nutrition ambassador brings authenticity to the series, along with his own brand of charm that makes the series immensely watchable as he interacts with the young celebrities.”

From pumpkin soup to pancakes to parathas, the web series features a variety of recipes made with Quaker Oats to help increase the nutrition quotient of each dish without changing its taste.

Speaking on the video series, Khanna said, “Breakfast is an important part of the day for me. It decides how my day will shape up. Shooting with Nushrat, Vishnuu, Kusha and Dolly was truly fun. It was interesting to know that the young generation is conscious of their health, but they are uncertain of ways to adopt nutrition in their rushed lives. I am happy that through the web series with Quaker we will not only showcase the versatility of Quaker oats, but also show the youth how easy it can be to make their breakfast healthy, yet tasty. I am a big fan of oats and given that Quaker Oats are a rich source of protein, fibre and energy, a fistful of oats added to any dish can make it a perfect way to start the day.”
