Schbang's short film ‘Pralhad' pays tribute to the founder of Finolex Group

Brought to life as a period film capturing a bygone era, the role of Chhabria is essayed by Ritvik Sahore, of ‘Laakhon me ek' fame

On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Schbang has launched short film "Pralhad" in partnership with Finolex. The film pays tribute to the Founder of Finolex Group, late Pralhad P Chhabria.

Brought to life as a period film capturing a bygone era, the role of Chhabria is essayed by Ritvik Sahore, of ‘Laakhon me ek’ fame.

Other cast members include Aabid Shamim, Annapurna Soni and Chinamay Das.

The film follows the story of a young boy, Chhabria, who came from Amritsar with a Rs 10 note in his shirt pocket to Mumbai and went on to build a Rs 10,000 crores company - Finolex Industries and Finolex Cables.

The film captures Chhabria’s close attention to detail, intellect and inspires young entrepreneurs in India and around the world.

The film has won 22 awards on the international and Indian film festival circuit, including Prague International Film Festival, London Film and Television Festival, and Moscow International Film Festival.
