Surya Narayanan to head Content and Brand Solutions at Zirca Digital Solutions

Zirca Digital Solutions as appointed Surya Narayanan as Senior Vice-President - Content and Brand Solutions. Narayanan will handle the entire brand solutions business and content strategy for Zirca. He would report to CEO, Neena Dasgupta.

Narayanan has more than 15 years of experience as a 360-degree marketer, P&L leader and digital expert. He has worked in India, Indonesia, Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria. He has set up, run and grown agencies such as HDS (part of JWT, WPP), Squad Digital (WPP) – Africa, AIMIA Digital – Indonesia, Isobar India, etc.

Zirca has also appointed Ankur Handa as Associate Vice-President to lead the supply side of the business and Nishant Gupta as National Sales Head, Microsoft and Programmatic Solutions.

Handa comes with more than 12 years of experience in strategic alliances, media partnerships, product and platform evangelism, and other key initiatives leading to profitable business engagement and revenue. His previous assignments have been with India UC News (UCWeb Mobile), Alibaba Group, Gurgaon, as Business Director – Strategic Alliances. He was also associated with companies such as Yahoo! India in Mumbai, Webaroo Technology in Mumbai, GCC JID Networks – Jobsindubai.com in Dubai, and Info Edge India – Naukri.com in Noida. Handa will report to Dasgupta.

As National Sales Head for Microsoft and Programmatic Solutions at Zirca, Gupta will be reporting to Jabir Merchant (Senior Vice-President and Head of Advertising). Gupta has more than 15 years of experience in cross-media sales, online and print media sales. His last assignment was with ESPN as Digital Lead and prior to that with Digital Quotient, HT Media as Head, Brand Sales and Business Development. He has worked with companies such as the India Today Group, Rediff.com and MySmartPrice.com.
