Vatsana Technologies, the parent company of WittyFeed, has announced the appointment of Harsh Mani Tripathi as Chief Product and Strategy Officer to strengthen and accelerate product development and business-wide strategy implementation. Tripathi is also an entrepreneur and an angel investor.

Tripathi’s last venture, Delhi-based SaaS platform Pyoopil Education Technologies, was acquired by Ronnie Screwvala’s leading ed-tech company UpGrad. Post the acquisition, Tripathi spent a good two years across various leadership positions at UpGrad, driving product verticals and leading multiple cross-functional teams.

On this new journey, Tripathi’s focus will be on creating and leading the company’s product offerings as well as business strategies, in an endeavour to evolve Vatsana Technologies’ from a new-age media company to a media-tech industry leader. His key responsibilities would include driving Vatsana’s product vision as well as cutting across the organisation through creation and implementation of business strategies for serving Vatsana’s Billion plus consumers globally. He would also ensure that the entire organisation is led by a unified and cohesive vision.

Speaking about his appointment, Vinay Singhal Co-Founder & CEO, Vatsana Technologies, said, “We have worked with him on multiple occasions across the last eight years of Vatsana’s journey. He has been a committed investor in Vatsana and it is an extremely positive signal to have had his unwavering belief in our endeavours throughout. This is the most interesting time in Vatsana’s journey for product and strategy to flourish. We are entering this new phase of the organisation by heading straight into building unique products to rediscover content distribution for the world.”

“The areas that we are going to tread next, through OneFeed, are some of the most exciting opportunities in the media-tech space. Figuring out a robust content distribution engine for publishers across the globe and solving the largely unsolved problem of content matchmaking are going to drive some of the most influential engines in the media-tech space,” said, Harsh Mani Tripathi on his appointment as the Chief Product and Strategy Officer.

Tripathi is an electrical and electronics engineer by training. He started his entrepreneurial journey in 2010 as Co-founder of Vilikh Technologies. Vilikh Technologies operated in the fields of robotics and embedded systems. The company successfully ran an e-commerce division and a training outfit catering to national and global markets.

Soon after Vilikh, Tripathi ventured into the EdTech space founding his new venture Pyoopil Education Technologies. Pyoopil started out as a peer-peer collaboration-led learning network for campuses. After multiple failures and pivots, Pyoopil found a strong footing in the B2B corporate learning space. Soon after gaining traction in the B2B learning space Pyoopil was acquired By Ronnie Screwvala’s UpGrad.
