New Delhi: Admitad, a partner network owned by a tech company, Mitgo, has acquired Wardroll, a social commerce startup, in an undisclosed deal.
Headquartered in Germany, Mitgo functions in performance marketing, fintech, and smart shopping.
Founded by IIT Delhi alumnus Kashish Jain, Wardroll is a social commerce platform that helps creators monetise their content by turning viewer engagement into product sales.
The platform’s smart link technology automates product link sharing in shoppable videos, simplifying the journey from discovery to purchase. In its early growth phase, Wardroll gained traction by onboarding creators with a collective reach of millions and securing exclusive collaborations with brands like Myntra and H&M.
With this acquisition, the Wardroll project is now officially part of the Trendweave team (also one of Mitgo’s businesses), bringing its creator base and live campaign assets into Mitgo’s social shopping ecosystem.
As part of the deal, Wardroll founder Kashish Jain will join the leadership team at Trendweave, helping to scale the platform’s creator-first vision.
Kashish Jain, Founder of Wardroll, shared, “Consumers today are drowning in choices, facing decision fatigue every time they open an app. Wardroll started as a vision to make discovery-led shopping easier for users, while helping creators boost their income and unlocking performance-driven commerce for brands. Its core DNA fits naturally into Trendweave’s creator-first vision and strengthens its capabilities manifold.”
Neha Kulwal, Managing Director – APAC & India at Mitgo, said, “Wardroll brings incredible value in both technology and creator relationships. This acquisition aligns perfectly with our mission to build the future of social shopping. With Trendweave, we're building an ecosystem where creators, users, and brands thrive together and Wardroll’s capabilities supercharge that journey. We’re excited to welcome Kashish and his team to the Mitgo family.”
