New Delhi: YouTube has introduced changes to the payment activity overview in YouTube Studio, providing creators with a clearer view of their payouts and earnings across channels linked to a single Google AdSense account.
According to the platform, the updated payment activity page will expand its functionality to include creators who operate multiple channels connected to the same AdSense account. The current payments page provides an overview of how revenue translates into payments, and the updated version adds aggregated payment activity across all linked channels.
“We’re expanding our studio payment activity capabilities to include creators with multiple channels linked to their AdSense accounts. The current payment activity page provides creators with an easy way to understand how earnings translate into payments, and with this expansion, creators with multiple channels associated with an AdSense account will be able to see metrics like aggregated payment activity across all channels,” YouTube said.
The updated overview will also include a channel-wise breakdown of payment activity and payment history for the past 12 months.
YouTube said the view will only be available to users who have access to revenue data, either through channel permissions or brand account permissions.
The update introduces a more detailed view of payment data for creators managing several channels under one AdSense account, where tracking earnings and payment thresholds across different properties can be complex.
