Taking UGC route, Bonn Group launches contest for cooking enthusiasts to create recipes with Bonn bread

In a bid to encourage people to try experimental bread-based recipes at home, Bonn Group has organised a contest to invite unique bread recipes. The contest will be an open challenge for chefs and cooking enthusiasts who can share their recipes on their own Instagram and Facebook pages with the #MaiBhiBonnChef hashtag using Bonn Bread and Bakery.

Ten final shortlisted and selected recipes will be featured on Bonn's page (on Instagram and Facebook). Out of these, a panel of judges will select five winners, who will be finally called to participate in Bonn’s ‘Live Kitchen’ contest where they will compete with each other. 

The winner will get a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. The other participants too will get gift hampers. The bread recipe contest by Bonn Group comes amid the festive season.

“For this contest, we have kept some parameters such as recipe presentation, use of bread as the main recipe ingredient, simplicity of the recipe, and uniqueness of the idea. The winner will be the next ‘Bonn chef’ and he will have a chance to feature as the Next Bonn Chef,” said Amrinder Singh, Director, Bonn Group. 

The entries for the contest opened on October 11, 2021, and will be closed by October 20, 2021.

In July, this year, the company launched ‘Bonn Chef’, a social media campaign to encourage people to try experimental bread-based recipes at home, prepared by Master Chef Ashish Singh, Corporate Chef Nishant Choubey and Chef Jaspreet Singh.

These chefs are part of the judging panel for the #MaiBhiBonnChef contest.
